I fucking dig Peaches

I my opinion very little good music has been made since the 70s, but this Canadian chick Peaches is an exception. She just released her new album Impeach My Bush and it rocks.

Her lyrics leave liittle room for doubt about her feelings towards the idiot in the White House. How about “I’d rather fuck who I want than kill who I am told to!” or “Let’s face it, we all want tush/If I’m wrong, Impeach my bush”. Now that's my kind of gal!

It's funny how we have to turn to Canada to find young musicians with a social conscience. If this was the 60s there'd be hundreds of groups out there protesting our trend toward fascism, imperialism and religious fundamentalism.

Actually I don't much care for Peaches' music, I guess I'm just too old, but you gotta respect her message. You can read more about her in this article from Mother Jones.
